The Code
Off the road.
Not off the hook.
Every closed trail started with someone who didn’t care. These are the rules we drive, camp and film by, and the reason this channel exists.
Seven rules
- Drive only where it’s legal. Not sure? Then it isn’t. A shortcut is never worth a closed trail.
- Stay on the track.Every detour around a puddle makes the track wider. Drive through it.
- Leave camp cleaner than you found it.Pack out your trash and one bag of someone else’s.
- Keep it quiet after dark.Engines, generators, music: sound carries further out there than you think.
- Fire only where it’s allowed. And never in a dry spell, no matter how good the photo would be.
- Dogs on leash near wildlife and livestock.Ours love to run. Not at the cost of a deer or a farmer’s sheep.
- Respect gates, landowners and locals.Leave gates as you found them. Say hello. Buy your bread in the village.
Where is offroad legal?
